Marie and Geoffrey, the new owners, welcome you with a smile to a friendly corner of the Dordogne, on the banks of a lush river. There are no crowds here: just the sound of the Auvézère, the old card mill and the immediate impression of being in the right place. At Le Clupeau, the serenity and freshness of the moment are quickly forgotten.
In terms of activities, you’re well catered for: 120 marked trails, canoeing and paddle-boarding from the campsite, fishing, table tennis, badminton, pétanque, wi-fi to taunt your friends, and a bar-snack bar with terrace overlooking the water. A real vacation atmosphere, in short… a little paradise!

Alone, as a couple or with the family, nature lovers will be delighted by the wide choice of activities in the heart of Périgord: from the campsite, you can go hiking, cycling… or even canoeing for those who like to combine sport with controlled splashing. Fishermen can fish without leaving the campsite, either from their own pitch or near the dam.
Young and old alike will find the playground to let off steam, while swimmers will enjoy the river to cool off – or to shout “she’s good!” in high summer.
In September, it’s time for gourmet explorers: mushrooms, wild berries and other treasures await the curious in the surrounding undergrowth. And because eating ice cream officially counts as a sporting activity (of the wrist, at least) at the campsite, the snack-bar-restaurant welcomes you for a gourmet break. With a choice of ice creams, cold drinks and sweet treats, there’s plenty to keep you going… before you set off exploring again!

01Are sheets and towels included in the accommodation?
Sheets are included in mobile homes, but towels are not.
02Is it possible to choose your location?
You can choose your location within the limits of available spaces.
03Can I park my car or van on a parking space?
Yes, on all sites except N°7.
04Are pets allowed in all areas of the campsite?
Yes, they must be kept on a leash except in their dedicated area.
05Are barbecues available for rental?
Yes, at a cost of 5 euros per day. They must, however, be used on their dedicated space in the event of prefectoral restrictions due to fire risks.
